Hi Robert Its a term I got from Goldsmith meaning to purposely mis-hear lyrics or poetry. This methodolgy is different in that I am interpreting the Italian Ginsberg poem homophonically in English, based on some knowledge of the orignal. So all based on 'Pull my daisy', rosary my gore, rizzle my margret etc' which is based on 'margherita' Italian for Daisy and so on. Its quite fun and dredges things out of your subconcious in order to meet the demands of similarity with the object language. R
