The 2018 Annual Conference takes place in Manchester, 11-13 September 2018. It’s our 25th year and we want the Annual Conference to reflect our diverse and growing community across the UK and beyond.

2.7 Digital leaders programme - higher and further education, Leicester, 25 - 26 January and 15 - 16 February 2018

The four-day programme is made up of a pair of two-day residential workshops. It will equip participants with the tools, knowledge and skills to:

• Become a more effective digital leader through their own personal and professional development

• Explore how organisations can engage more effectively with the digital technology at their disposal – at strategic and operational levels

• Discover and reflect on how digital technology is changing the way their organisation operates – creating new leadership challenges and strategic opportunities

• Learn to lead, manage and influence digitally driven change across organisations, departments, services and teams

2.8 Call for Proposals: Academic Practice and Technology (APT2018) conference, University of Greenwich, 3 July 2018

The 16th APT conference, ‘An uncertain future: Adapting academic practice for an evolving digital world’, is co-hosted by the University of Greenwich and London School of Economics (LSE), and will be held 3 July 2018, at the Greenwich Maritime campus in London. APT 2018 will showcase emerging and evolving academic practice with educational technology, focusing on the need to adapt practice within an HE sector that many expect to be turbulent in the years ahead. Contributions are welcome from academic practitioners, researchers, technologists, librarians, professional services staff and student-staff partnerships.
