1.1. Join the 2018 Annual Conference Committee

The 2018 Annual Conference will take place in Manchester from 11 to 13 September 2018. We are doing things a bit differently and offering all volunteers the chance to sign up for what they are particularly interested in helping with in the run-up to and during ALT’s Annual Conference. It’s our 25th year and we want the Annual Con to reflect our diverse and growing community across the UK and beyond.

1.2 New ALT North East Members Group approved by Trustees

  • Compile better information about professional development in Learning Technology

  • Support candidates who are looking for examples of successful portfolios that are related to their own work

2.10 Digital leaders programme - higher and further education, Leicester, 25 - 26 January and 15 - 16 February 2018

The four-day programme is made up of a pair of two-day residential workshops. It will equip participants with the tools, knowledge and skills to:

  • Become a more effective digital leader through their own personal and professional development

  • Explore how organisations can engage more effectively with the digital technology at their disposal – at strategic and operational levels

  • Discover and reflect on how digital technology is changing the way their organisation operates – creating new leadership challenges and strategic opportunities
