Dear Zooarchers, Doug Campana and I have been working on the animal bones
and worked bone objects from the Neolithic and Chalcolithic site of Tepecik in
Central Anatolia. Doug has some pointed implements that he thinks are probably
tools for basketry making. He is looking for ethnographically-known or
historically-known comparanda. Do any of you know of museum collections that
include well documented bone basketry making tools? Many, many
thanks!
