Hello Thomas,

We are looking for wolves to undertake Wellcome funded aDNA research on – so our projects overlap slightly.  We have some other examples of wolves from prehistory (e.g. on Skye), but are you focusing on a particular date?  We have M1 data.

Best wishes,

Subject: [ZOOARCH] Wolf remains in the UK and their extinction

Dear Zooarchaeologists,

I am currently a third year undergraduate at the University of Nottingham and seeking your help with a research paper on the extinction of wolves in the UK and related zooarchaeological evidence.

Currently I have data from the following sites-

If there are any further sites that I have missed, especially if they have recorded measurements of the M1 tooth of wolf/possible wolves, I will be very grateful for any information that can be provided.

Many thanks,

Thomas Howe
