Are you using the SPM batch processing for this, or the options in the CAT12 toolbox?  If you’re doing this for cortical thickness, you should set up the factorial design with the “Basic Models” function in the CAT12 GUI, and once that has run use the “Estimate Surface Models” in the CAT12 GUI.  You can generate the contrasts using the SPM batch interface, but the first two steps should be conducted via CAT12.  If that’s what you were doing, then I’d suggest sending a message to Christian Gaser ([log in to unmask]) with the error message.  In my experience, it may take a week or two for him to respond given the amount of questions he receives about the toolbox.  Hope this helps.

Travis,

Thank you for requesting this clarification. As I looked into it, I realized I had made an error in not using the model estimation.

However, when I reran it with model estimation (step 1: Factorial design specification, step 2: model estimation with a dependency for the factional design specification, step 3: contrast manager with a dependency for step 2), I got an error saying "failed: model estimation, skipped: contrast manager."

Any advice for how to correct this would be much appreciated.
