On Monday 4 December, 2pm GMT, the University of Westminster Archive will be hosting a webinar looking at our experiences from our first year of digital preservation.

The University of Westminster Archive started using Archivematica (as part of Arkivum's Perpetua service) in September 2016. The webinar will cover:
•       What digital records we hold;
•       What system we are using;
•       Why we chose this solution;
•       Our test phase and the questions that arose from it;
•       Example workflows;
•       Issues with large & complex collections;
•       Future plans.

The webinar is aimed at archivists, special collections librarians, records managers and other information professionals who are considering setting up a digital preservation system within their institution. We expect it to last for around 45 minutes.

The webinar will be hosted on YouTube Live and you will need a Google account in order to be able to participate in the live chat. If you are unable to watch the webinar live, it will be recorded and made available on our YouTube account afterwards.

In order to register, please complete this survey: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TV8M9SS The link will then be sent to you a few days in advance of the webinar.
