Hi All

I help to run 'Science in Radstock', which has been staging science and technology talks for general audiences in Radstock, near Bath, since 2004. For our 2018 programme I’d like to find someone who can speak about self-driving cars and other autonomous vehicles. Although I’m sure we’d get an audience for a discussion of the technology I think we’d get a bigger audience for someone who was able to talk about the wider implications of this technology, possibly even from a sceptical viewpoint.

Can anyone on this list suggest possible contacts for finding such a speaker?

I should add that 'Science in Radstock' can only pay very limited travel expenses, so we’re basically limited to fairly local speakers, or those from further afield who have their travel funded from other sources.

Hope the hive mind can help

Thanks

Richard.
