Dear all,
The annual Andrew Goodwin Memorial Prize is now accepting entries for its 2017-18 round.
This prize is awarded for the best essay by a postgraduate student on any aspect of popular music from any disciplinary perspective.
The value of the prize is £500 and publication of the winning essay on the Andrew Goodwin Memorial Prize web page on the IASPM UK and Ireland website.
The 2017-18 panel of judges is Matt Brennan, Simon Frith, Catherine Tackley, and Simon Zagorski-Thomas.
The deadline for submissions is 31 December 2017, and the winner will be announced in May 2018.
