Dear Wen Ju,
It’s a NO. The use of dictionaries is not permitted in NEW GCSE paper 4 writing.

Kind Regards,

Dear All,

I know current Year 11 can use dictionaries to do their GCSE Writing exams.

My Current Year 10 will use the new GCSE exam specification 2017. Can they use dictionaries during their writing assessments as well?

Many thanks

Wen Ju
