Hi Duncan,

we get the information from the bdii - if it's not in the bdii how would we know ?

Cheers,
Daniela

Hi

Does anyone have an idea as to why most sites have srm as their default profile in the Dirac configuration whilst some have root?

thanks
Duncan

Suddenly it almost all started working. Our working theory is that it might
take offence to one site only and then just trip up completely (as it is
the dirac way).
The only persistent error is ECDF, which we think might be due to an old
version of xroot (Rob?) and as ECDF only has xroot acess it will show there.

We will upgrade the dirac server to the next major version tomorrow and
debug it from there.

The question about whether we should be using xroot anywhere apart from
ECDF stands.
If you have an old version of xroot an upgrade is probably advisable.

Lancaster's running a quite crusty 4.4.0 on our headnode, but our pool
nodes appear to running mainly 4.6.1 (with a few stop outs apparently,
which makes me grumpy I like my disk servers all the same).

Hi All Who Are Running DPM,

Duncan reported an error in the dirac thread:
secgsi_GetCA: CRL entry for 'ffc3d59b:1' needs refreshing:
clean the related entry cache first (0x7fee9c1915c0)

This error seems to be discussed here and end with a fix for
         xrootd server
         https://github.com/xrootd/xrootd/issues/435
         <https://github.com/xrootd/xrootd/issues/435>
The conclusion seems to be that 4.6.1 of xroot seems to be OK.
What versions are you running ?

         regards,
         Daniela
