Hi Sam,

Having said this, why does Brunel advertise xroot in their bdii and Glasgow doesn't ?
DIRAC gets their information from the bdii, so if we wanted to configure this correctly, we would need sites to advertise their xrootd.
Whether we should be using xrootd is another question.

The conclusion seems to be that 4.6.1 of xroot seems to be OK. What versions are you running ?
