Dear all, Applications for PhD projects are now open for 2018 entry at Cardiff University through the GW4+ Doctoral Training Programme. Seismic observations of mass and water transport to and from the Mantle Transition Zone. Supervised by Dr. David Thompson (Cardiff), Prof. Huw Davies (Cardiff), Dr. James Wookey (Bristol) http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/research/programmes/project/source-or-sink-seismic-observations-of-mass-and-water-transport-to-and-from-the-mantle-transition-zone The second is CASE-funded through English Heritage and will investigate the vulnerability of the rocky coast at one of the U.K.’s most historic sites (Tintagel Castle, Cornwall): * Rocky coast geomorphology: the key to unlocking our archaeological heritage.
