Registration is open for the Northern Museums Volunteer Pass. The Northern Museums Volunteer Pass is one of the largest schemes in England. This scheme is open to all accredited museums, or those who have received official recognition of working towards accreditation, in the North East, North West and Yorkshire and Humberside Museum Development regions. The Northern Museums Volunteer Pass now has over 160 participating museums in the North East, North West and Yorkshire and Humberside areas, representing over 6,000 volunteers. Membership of the scheme is based on a mutually beneficial partnership between participating museums and the Volunteer Passes for April 2018 will be valid for a period of 2 years from 1 April 2018 - 31 March 2020.
