Hi Tracey, The most accessible volume (which I believe would be suitable for a textbook, though is an edited volume) I can think of is the Biggs et al 2015 piece, Principles for Resilience Building. It is not about a disaster-based approach to resilience, however; it focuses on complex adaptive systems and social-ecological resilience, stemming from classic literature on this and bringing it up to the present. http://www.cambridge.org/us/academic/subjects/life- sciences/natural-resource-management-agriculture- horticulture-and/principles-building-resilience- sustaining-ecosystem-services-social-ecological-systems? format=HB&isbn=9781107082656#oejFqWBuPXkSSklK.97 Sincerely, Dorian Fougères, Ph.D. Vice-Chair, Resilience Thematic Group IUCN Commission on Ecosystem Management check it! --> https://resilientlandscapes.blog *and* Collaborative Science and Planning Specialist California Tahoe Conservancy *and* CEO, Collaborative Adaptation +1 (415) 812-7819 <(415)%20812-7819> [log in to unmask] Skype dorianfougeres Sincerely, Dorian Fougères, Ph.D. On Thu, Nov 16, 2017 at 6:50 AM, Malka Older <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > This is from a practitioner standpoint that you may find useful: > http://www.ecbproject.org/resource/18341 > > Also this book (which I have a chapter in) was just released: https://www. > routledge.com/Governing-for-Resilience-in-Vulnerable- > Places/Trell-Restemeyer-Bakema-van-Hoven/p/book/9781138216495 > > On Thu, Nov 16, 2017 at 5:43 AM, Tracey Coates < > [log in to unmask]> wrote: > >> Thank you.
