The CILIP website is changing and so is the way that you can book on to our events.

If you are a member you will have received, or will shortly receive, an email containing instructions on signing in to the new website for the first time, allowing you to reset your password and introducing you to our new SocialLink networking platform for members. You will also be able to view and update your profile and check your communications preferences.

Members signed in to the website will automatically receive the discounted rate for any events that you book.

Our current Events timetable is a busy one. Notable dates coming up are:

17 November - Library Management Systems Showcase
FREE. For anyone considering upgrading their current LMS system

28 November - Privacy Briefing
Understand the basic principles of user privacy and reflect on your own practice.

11 December - Techniques to inspire, develop and implement change
Discover through hands-on activities and interactive challenges how you can drive change within your organisation which can be embraced by staff and stakeholders alike.

1 February 2018 - Moving into Research Support: what librarians really need to know
This workshop explains the different ways libraries can support researchers, ranging from planning, through to post-publication and how everything links together.

All of these events take place at the CILIP HQ in Ridgmount Street, London and you can find details of programme and speakers on the website. Take a look at all of our featured events https://www.cilip.org.uk/events/event_list.asp?show=&group=&start=11%2F9%2F2017&end=&view=&cid=17899

Of course, non-members can book for our events too. Though you may be interested to know that CILIP membership is changing, with a more affordable and inclusive approach. https://www.cilip.org.uk/page/membership

warm regards
