Impressed with the two books (the new one and notes from echo lake) I've read. Is this article fair, and can his goal be said to be hoaxed openness? I'm still a little unclear on that that latter term. Is it fine to conceive of it as a lyric subject that somehow merges with the reader's?
It seems unusual to have to read about a poet to get them, but not get anywhere doing so. I mean, there seems to be something quite universal to Palmer's poetry.

Thanks for any reply,
Luke
