The National Archives, British Library, Wellcome Trust, and Aude Charillon, recent winner of the Public Librarian of the Year Award join other speakers for CILIP’s Privacy Briefing which will be a fascinating and eye opening look at the topic from the point of view of the librarian and information professional.

If your organisation or service collects data in any way, this event will be of relevance in both a legal and ethical sense. It focuses on the legal and ethical boundaries of collecting data, why data collection is essential and also how to protect the rights of the user or customer.
