Don't forget to nominate your group for a Community Archive & Heritage Award, celebrating the importance of community archives and heritage

The awards are open to all community groups in the UK and Ireland who are members of CAHG. Community archives, community heritage groups, community museums and community archaeology groups are all included in CAHG. If your group is not a member it is free to join.

Groups can enter one or more of four categories 

Community Engagement - A project which engages communities with a community archive collections in a novel and successful way 

Gathering Heritage - A project which focuses on the process of collecting heritage and preserving or stewarding heritage

Digital- For groups and projects that have been particularly successful or trail-blazing in their digital work, whether that means digitizing their collections, developing their website, or being active in social media outlets.

Best New Group- For a project or activity that was established after 1 January 2016

Groups entering must be a ‘group’ not an individual.
