Hi Alison,
All our scribes type the responses so not an issue for us (at the moment!).

Subject: Scribes using a PC/laptop
Hi everyone,
I have a quick question about Scribes – some of ours have asked if they could type instead of write in exams. This would probably be great for those who can type quickly but not all of them
can. My main concern (apart from the ability to source enough PCs/laptops to accommodate this) would be the equality of the experience for the students i.e. those with a Scribe who can type may have an advantage over a student with a Scribe who is writing
their answers.
I’d be interested in experience/practice elsewhere and happy to provide a summary of responses.
Kind Regards
Alison
