Hey zooarchs,

I'm working on a post-colonial (late 1800s) Philadelphia site which had
mostly domesticated animals, tons of sheep/lamb, and so I was skeptical
about what I was seeing until I found another bone that also made me
think these were cervid, based on Schmid and other sketches. It's a
femur-tibia set, probably, from a younger animal (FM unfused distally +
new bone growth). Even young, the bones are about twice the size of most
sheep bones I've seen, and about 1/3 bigger than fully fused sheep
femora found there.

Can anyone confirm? Thanks!
