I keep saying the soundwalker in cases where I want to accentuate the listening aspect of a walk.

Not surprised, walking practices are usually very serious, rarely ridiculous for some reason.
Lisa Robertson's essay "Proverbs for a She-Dandy" is a fab read, plenty of absurdity.

Hi All

If 'flaneur/euse' describes a person walking & observing the crowd what word(s) best describe(s) one who walks & listens?

So far, the only suggestion I have had is "Aural Flaneur" defined by Boutin in City of Noise (thanks Antonella Radicchi).

Would love to hear some other suggestions from WAN members.

Best, Andrew
