"As this is an entry-level opportunity, token remuneration is available for commissioned pieces and will be discussed in more detail upon application."

Given the line above, I think there's no need to bother, as we know very well what the answer will be. Nobody here but us boiled frogs, like.

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Budding science writers wanted

Dear list members,

GeoLog, the official blog of the European Geosciences Union (EGU),  regularly brings readers information about recent research in the geosciences as well as updates on the EGU’s activities. Part of what makes GeoLog a great read is the variety that guest posts add to our regular features.

As a result, we are looking to build a network of freelance and guest contributors that we can draw on for new, exciting and unique content on an ad hoc basis. If you are a budding science writer with an interest in the Earth, space and/or planetary sciences we’d like to hear from you!

This opportunity is ideal for those starting out in the world of science communication, and who wish to build their experience and portfolio. As this is an entry-level opportunity, token remuneration is available for commissioned pieces and will be discussed in more detail upon application.

If you are interested in this opportunity, would like to discuss it in more detail, or have an idea you would like to contribute to GeoLog, please get in touch with the EGU Communications Officer,  [log in to unmask].

If you are already an experience science communicator, you may wish to apply for a vacancy we have open until 5 November: https://egu.eu/0AUE2R/

Best wishes,

Laura
