ScotGov have SPICe: http://www.parliament.scot/gettinginvolved/100471.aspx

They are actively encouraging engagement through academic fellowships, studentships, and consultations, etc. While this has its limitations, I think it’s a really encouraging start, especially being initiated as it is from ScotGov.

Best,

Mhairi

Excellent timing as Pathways To Impact In The Welsh Government And The National Assembly For Wales A Practical Guide For Researchers was launched yesterday by the Campaign for Social Science. It looks like a great resource for engaging with the Assembly/Welsh Gov regardless of your subject https://campaignforsocialscience.org.uk/pathwaystoimpact/

Is there anything for the Scottish Parliament an Northern Ireland Assembly?

Regards,

Helen.

Hello,

I thought this might interest list members - Taylor & Francis have just launched a new guide for researchers on 'Getting your research into parliament', in collaboration with Sense about Science and POST (Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology). It provides an overview of how research enters parliament, the role research plays in the public sphere, and the steps to take to help research influence parliamentary matters.

Read the guide at: http://ow.ly/pFRC30fPu8O

Please do feel free to pass this on to anyone you think will find it useful.

Best wishes,

Jodie
