Good afternoon

Our conservator is looking for some advice on repairing a specimen of yellow talc which split in half many moons ago. The two pieces no longer fit together, one side having warped into a curve. The questions are:

Is it possible to undo the curve of the talc, and if so – how?

Which adhesive would be the best to use?

I can ask for photos to send off-list if that helps.
