Dear All, The 'Queen Mary Visual Cultures Forum' kicks off this semester on Tuesday 10 October with Dr Mechthild Fend (UCL) and some gory explorations of nineteenth-century wax models of skin diseases (not to be missed!). We think this talk, investigating the affective responses prompted by these visceral indexical objects, might really appeal to history of emotions and medical humanities communities, so please come along.
