I think we have experienced this issue as well but for us I noticed an Open Athens logo on the error message, we are not an OA customer and have our own IdP.

 

I contacted the LN helpdesk and they told me it was a UK federation issue.

 

Again the problem is intermittent so I think I will need to encounter it again before taking further action…

 

 

 

Hi All,

 

Back in August we had users from off campus reporting that when they tried to log in to Lexis Library they would be met with a message saying there was an "error contacting your identity provider". LexisNexis contacted me a week or so later to say that the problem was fixed, but our users were/are still having trouble. LexisNexis’ technical team has carried on working on a fix since then, but no joy so far. I’m just curious: are we the only ones having this problem?
