I quite liked the “I am Doctor Why” header in one of them (tempted to assume it as an alter ego …), and was reminded overall of Stanley Fish and the un-poem on the blackboard. (Oh, man.)

Subject: Unwanted messages!

Dear all

I apologise that you may have received a number of unwanted messages from LDHEN this evening. I imagine they were generated by a bot; they are linked to an address attributed to ‘Adam Marshall Dobran’. I do not know that name – does anyone else?

I have now removed that address from our list and hope this will resolve the issue.

All the best

John
