Subject: Volunteers and DBS checking
Hi All,
I’m currently in the process of developing our new volunteer program here at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum. I’ve stumbled across a few grey areas, one of which being whether we DBS all our volunteers, just some, or none of them?
At present we don’t have any regular volunteers, so this is something I would develop into our safeguarding and volunteer policy before we start bring volunteers on board.
If anyone has any advice or help as to what you do in the museum and visitor service sector, I would be extremely grateful.
