INFORMATION:

RACIALIZATION OF MUSLIMS AND ARAB – AMERICANS IN THE TRUMP ERA

In response to the executive orders announced at the beginning of the year attacking Muslims and refugee families, Project South, the Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition, and Vanderbilt School of Law’s Immigration Practice Clinic and George Barrett Social Justice Program are providing a training for lawyers and law students who are interested in learning the different issues currently facing Muslims and Arab-Americans such as employment and religious discrimination and racialization. The training will also cover the national context on countering the Muslim ban and the work that is being done at the local level.
