Ok – can I just recap.
I submit entries via edi for all the components.
I then need to go onto e-AQA and submit the marks – or in this case select the carry forward option.
(will the candidates show straight away) – just a random thought!
When I looked at the info from AQA it said – see below – which I thought meant adjusting each entry log for every candidate.
Electronic data interchange (EDI) • Insert ‘F’ in the mark/grade status position instead of ‘V’. • A valid EDI submission should look like: M500123406238700/C F • Don’t use absent ‘A’ or zero ‘Z’.
Sorry – I’m feeling really stupid – exam manager made redundant and I’m picking up the pieces!

Hi Jane,
You will need to retain the candidate’s UCI number from their previous school and ensure that this is used on your entry to the board, it can be entered into the student record in UNIT-e. Once the entries are
complete and you are ready to submit the marks for the S&L component there is a Carry Forward option on e-AQA that can be used.
We also use UNIT-e so if you need any help with the system feel free to give me a call.

Hi
Does anyone know what to do regarding carry forward of marks for AQA GCSE English.
Have read the instructions from AQA but still don’t understand what I’m supposed to do!
I’m using Unit-e – new to exams admin – any help much appreciated.
