Hi Steve

We are having issues with all of them at the moment.

We had an issue yesterday and then thought we would try again today and we are still getting an error message, until this is sorted we are heading back to Promissor.  Our IT team are currently trying to resolve the issue with Edexcel but as yet we are not having any luck.

The thing I do find strange is that we had other exams that we still ran on Promissor and they are running fine with no issues, it is just the funky skills we are having issues with

Kind regards

Lisa

Subject: Maths Functional Skills on POP

Hello all

Further to previous messages regarding POP, we have had a minor disaster with Maths Functional Skills on POP this morning.

Got the error message below and our Invigilator, who is very IT savvy, did the usual alt/shift/F12 – secret1 / unblock malarkey but to no effect.

The answered question was lost and our student had enough and legged it.

I spoke to a lady at Edexcel who advised we do exactly what we had done but which had made no difference.

She assured me this issue would not have any impact on the second Maths Functional Skills on POP exam we have scheduled for this afternoon, but I’m not feeling confident.

Anyone else had similar problems with Maths on POP??

Thanks and regards

Subject: Error Message on POP Maria Read

Hi Steve

Error message as discussed. Selected NO and error came up again on logging in. Selected YES and after logging in again and restarting the exam the error message came up after first question answered. The answered question 1 was completed gone. Moving computers did not change anything.

Computer is now totally frozen on blank question 1 and learner has left.

Kind regards.

Karen
