Beware that in the latest version of depthmapX, the state of that checkbox is persisted between runs - I don't think that's the case in depthmapXnet. It will get test every time you restart the app, unless Tasos has changed that recently.

Dear all,

It happened to me several times. For some reason, the option box seems to get checked automatically after a while.

@Hui : make sure to uncheck the option right before you run the analysis (Tools > Visibility > Run Visibility Graph Analysis) and not only before you create the connectivity map (Tools > Visibility > Make Visibility Graph).

For me, this works every time but if I only uncheck before the first step, it doesn’t work.

Hope it helps,

Quentin

So if you start dX, uncheck the option, run your VGA analysis from the start again.. you don’t get all the measures?

Just checked on Mac.

Hi Tasos,

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to disable the simple measures mode by unchecking the box. But it automatically changed back and no other measures were provided as output. I have tried on both Windows and Mac versions. Same problem. Have you heard anyone else had similar problem before?

Hi Hui,

You can find the “Simple Measures” option in the Preferences/Options menu.
If you disable it and re-run the analysis you will file all the other measure available.

I could not locate other measures such as Isovist perimeter, occlusivity and drift. Did I miss anything? I unchecked the simple mode but no changes. I also tried older versions, both the .30 and .50 versions of depthmapX produced the same outcome. The answer might be very simple but I just have not been able to find out.
