Has anyone been approached by ‘The Leadership Board GDPR?’ Any thoughts??
As a wider question what events have you found useful and are you part of any online or in person networks?
Having just been to the Act Now introduction to GDPR I’d recommend. The facilitator had 13yrs experience of DP and is still actively working managing it. She was able to share the practical steps towards compliance from their live experience as well giving the dry detail of the legislation. Distinct advantage over the other events I’ve attended in so far that there was no sales pitch for ‘gap analysis’ or ‘readiness assessments’ at the end - clearly they have their place but you can feel that you aren’t being given the tools to solve the problem yourself.
