Dear friends,
In case any of you haven’t joined Circus 250, please read Dea’s e-mail below. I also understand from Dea that any of us are allowed to use the wonderful logo to promote Circus – related work in 2018.
Best wishes,
Ron

Thanks very much Ron. Great.
Would people like to go on our mailing list if they haven’t done so already? We have a newsletter coming out later this month. If you’d like to put in an entry you’ll need to sign up with us pretty
quickly, so just drop an email to [log in to unmask].
Many thanks and warmest

Subject: Circus Research Network Membership List
Dear friends,
I am delighted to attach our full membership list and thank everyone for giving permission for their details to be included. If you have any amendments to make, please let me know.
Having begun in 2014 as 17 people meeting in Circus Central (Newcastle) to consider the relationship between circus and research we now number 167, including 63 members from Australia, Austria, Canada, Finland,
France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Romania, Sweden and the USA. Most pleasing is how willing people are to help one another and that was Helen and my ambition for this Network at the start. So please keep posting and keep inviting
people to join.
Our growth, alongside the development of the wider Circademic community, the publication of Katie Lavers and Peta Tait’s excellent Reader, the recent Circus Arts Research Platform proposal, the attention paid to
research on Circus Talk, the development of a proper circus research conference circuit and many other initiatives, indicate a real flowering of circus research and a desire for connection between us.
And all this on the eve of the 250th anniversary of Circus:
