During the Second World War, the Headquarters of the WVS located on Tothill Street in London, received an endless series of correspondence from across the country. They also received
each monthly Narrative Report which eventually formed the foundation of our archive after its introduction in 1958.
Read Jacobs blog about how they kept on top of all of this and a charming little poem which one Centre Organiser sent in.
