Documentation Assistant

Archives and Collections, Glasgow - 2 Years Fixed Term, Grade 3 £19,305 - £22,214 per annum

The Glasgow School of Art is looking to appoint a Documentation Assistant who will be involved in adding data to the Archives and Collections catalogue and Content Management System, organising and linking images to their catalogued records, ensuring their accessibility and exposure, and supporting the general work of the Archives and Collections service.

You will have an organised methodical approach to work with excellent attention to detail, and enjoy the challenge of working in a creative and dynamic educational environment. With excellent communication skills, the ideal candidate will have experience of working within an archive, museum or library environment.

You will also have sound experience of using image management and image editing software.
