You will join a large combined adult and paediatric biochemistry department based in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. The department provides an extensive range of both routine and specialist tests to the population of South Glasgow and beyond, as well as providing regional services for specialist toxicology and metabolic tests. You will lead the department in developing our use of mass spectrometry, and undertake reporting duties across the full repertoire of the department.

Essential requirements: Registered with the Health Professions Council and possess a Degree or equivalent in Biochemistry, Chemistry or relevant subject. A Masters level qualification in Clinical and/or General Biochemistry, and /or a PhD would be desirable. You will also have FRCPath and substantial experience in Clinical Biochemistry.
