With the usual apologies for cross posting etc.

The Scottish Archaeological Research Framework (ScARF) project is pleased to announce the availability of a set of bursaries for students/early career researchers to attend the Association of Environmental Archaeology conference 2017. This will be held in Edinburgh from the 1st to the 3rd December 2017. The ScARF bursaries are designed to allow students to hear about current research in archaeology and participate in discussions within the discipline. The ultimate aim is of course that this knowledge is then used within the wider archaeological community of Scotland! The full set of criteria for applying and the form to apply can be found at https://www.socantscot.org/research/scarf-bursaries-available-association-for-environmental-archaeology-conference-2017/

Please note that applicants need not be studying or working in Scotland, but their research must demonstrate a clear connection to Scotland and/or contain Scottish data. This requirement is in keeping with the remit of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and as part of our funding for ScARF (www.scottishheritagehub.com) comes from Historic Environment Scotland.
