Dear SPMers, I am using SPM12 to normalise T1 image to MNI space and generate forward deformations that can be applied to images from other modalities of the same subject. I noticed that that forward deformations are slightly different when I use Normalise (Estimate only) vs Segment. My understanding was the both normalise and segment use the same piece of code. Is there a reason why the 2 outputs are different? What is the recommended way? Thank you, -Dhruman
