Thursday 21 September 2017, 05:30pm - 07:00pm

Location Royal Statistical Society, Errol Street, London EC1Y 8LX

RSS is hosting an open meeting, Thursday 21 September, on the revised Code of Practice from the Office for Statistics Regulation (OSR).

Arranged by RSS's National Statistics Advisory Group and Official Statistics Section, this session will enable attendees to contribute to the ongoing discussions about the new Code, which is currently in draft form. Indeed, the meeting will form an important part of the consultation process, which will draw to a close on 5 October 2017.

The event will be attended and addressed by OSR's Ed Humpherson (Director-General for Regulation) and Penny Babb (Statistics Regulator) - so it will be a great opportunity to put your questions and comments to the key players on this subject.

This open meeting will take place at RSS's Errol Street headquarters, in central London, with refreshments available from 5pm and the meeting starting at 5.30pm, closing by 7pm. To register your intention of attending, please visit: https://events.rss.org.uk/rss/156/home

Please note that priority will be given to RSS members if the level of demand exceeds the number of spaces available.

Full details about OSR's consultation process can be seen via: https://www.statisticsauthority.gov.uk/news/uk-statistics-authority-launches-consultation-for-a-refreshed-code-of-practice/
