Dear All,

The 4th International Workshop on Sustainable Road Freight Transport will be held in Cambridge on 30th November and 1st December 2017. For further details please see the attached flyer.
The workshop will focus on the progress towards low carbon freight transport and building links between academic research and practice with an aim to deliver world-class solutions to address the sustainable freight challenge. On day two, we will explore international aspects of decarbonising the sector and factors that may affect the uptake of sustainable freight transport initiatives in various parts of the world. All participants will be invited to participate in group & panel discussions.

We are delighted that Cécile Bray, Geodis; Tim Breemersch, Transport & Mobility Leuven; Carlos Calvo Ambel, Transport & Environment; Pierpaolo Cazzola, International Energy Agency; Andy Eastlake, Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership; Sudhir Gota, Partnership on Sustainable Low Carbon Transport; Professor Jan Havenga, University of Stellenbosch; Gavin Hill, Transport Certification Australia; Sophie Punte, Smart Freight Centre; Philip Roe, DHL Supply Chain; Tanya Strevens, World Business Council for Sustainable Development; Professor Gordon Wilmsmeier, University de los Andes; Professor John Woodrooffe, University of Michigan; have agreed to deliver keynote addresses at the workshop.

We invite presentations and posters on ways to improve the sustainability of road freight transport, including, but not limited to:
·       Vehicle, logistics and infrastructure solutions to decarbonise road freight transport
·       Alternative fuels for road freight transport
·       International perspectives and local green freight initiatives
·       Roadmaps to reduce GHG emissions from freight transport
·       Corporate GHG reduction targets, environmental policy design and execution
·       Role of data and ITC in sustainable freight transport systems

Abstracts of max 1000 words should be submitted by 15th September 2017. Notifications of acceptance for presentations will be sent out by 25th September 2017.
