Hi Georgina,

When we relaunched the nhm.ac.uk website towards the end of 2014, we had a feedback banner at the bottom of the page which read:

“You are viewing our new website – we’d love to hear your feedback” which linked to a Surveymonkey page. There’s not a huge amount of space available for this kind of thing so the message needs to be short and sweet!

You could also use the word “Beta” in your message which would (I think) help inform and assure users of what is happening with the site.

Hope that helps!

Theo

Dear MCG,

We’ll be putting our site live at the end of the month and I’m a bit nervous that in the first 48 hours things won’t be functioning 100% as we might like.

Does anyone have interesting examples of disclaimer text to help assure site visitors that we’ve just launched a new site /hope you like it/ everything should settle down in 48 hours?

Hope that makes sense and best,

Georgina
