Hi Oonagh

Can I draw your attention to The Creative Museum project www.creative-museum.net

We have just come to the end of our 3 year Erasmus+ funded project which has explored the relationship between start-ups and maker culture.

We have 3 written outputs available online:
In each of the three publications there are different examples which might be interesting. In addition, one of our partners and project coordinator, Cap Sciences have developed a number of initiatives including incubator spaces and work with local businesses.

I have cc'd Noemie and Cecile who can let you know more about Cap Science.

Best wishes

Jo

Subject: Museums and Start Ups?

Hi All

I am doing some research around museums and in house start up hubs, incubators and accelerators. I am planning to look at: New Museum, Te Papa and ACMI.

Are there any other museums doing interesting things in this area that I should look at?

This could be anything from hiring out desk space to creative entrepreneurs to a fully funded accelerator programme, I am interested in examples from both the UK and internationally. If this is something your museum has considered and is planning, that would also be really useful to hear about.

Do let me know either on list - or off list [log in to unmask]

Cheers,

Oonagh
