Workshops on navigation, how to find out where you are in the world, then and now. To my mind, this is both a practical STEAM activity, plus it would hopefully start them thinking about the wider world, how to be good  citizens of the global village. Goodness knows that sort of attitude is badly needed. Of course the PM may not approve, as, apparently citizens of the world are citizens of nowhere. With what little respect I can muster for the PM and her government, I would suggest that she is both wrong, and that she ought to look through the correct end of the telescope. And cancel Brexit.

Subject: Request for maritime museum activities ideas

Good Afternoon Gemmers,

I hope everyone is well, I have a question for anyone who is involved with maritime museums, do you have any suggestions or case studies you can share about good engagement activities that have worked for classes, groups or regular visitors? I want to get an idea of what has worked for you and your collections as I start to put together thoughts for planning activities, this is a new role for me in terms of collections so if there's particular things to focus on or avoid that would be very helpful!

Thanks very much,

All the best,

Natasha
