Owing to an increase in overseas and UK partner delivery, the University of Northampton is looking for 2-3 additional experienced external examiners for the subject area of Accounting and Finance, from October 2017:

·         Undergraduate programmes -BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance and Joint Honours.

·         Postgraduate programmes - MSc International Banking & Finance and  MSc in Corporate Governance.

We work with a number of partner organisations in the UK and overseas, so applications from people with experience of working with partners would be especially welcome.

 

We are looking for someone: 

·         who is suitably qualified with expertise in the above areas, ideally a Programme Leader or Senior Lecturer on similar programmes;

·         who has some previous experience as an external examiner (sorry, but we are already taking on a number of new EEs this year without previous experience and need to balance this)

·         Undergraduate - specialisms in Management Accounting and / or Finance would be ideal.

·         Postgraduate – interest in research is preferable.

The appointment will be for the four academic years 2017 to 2021, from 1 October 2017
