Just to bring to your awareness, the University of Surrey is looking for an Information Compliance Officer.  

The Information Compliance Officer will be a key member of the Information Compliance Unit at the University of Surrey. The successful candidate will play an important role in managing our compliance with data protection and other related information management obligations by providing advice and guidance on these matters across all levels of the University. They will also support the University's Information Compliance Unit to implement and embed the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. 

We are looking for someone with relevant experience of handling information management and compliance matters who is educated to degree level or has equivalent broad vocational experience. You will need to be a confident communicator, and have the ability to use your knowledge of relevant legislation and experience to answer queries and provide advice. It is important that you can demonstrate diplomacy and discretion and are able to manage your own time to achieve objectives.
