Applications are invited for one Post-doctoral Research Associate in the Department
of Geography at the Open University. The RA will work under the supervision of
Parvati Raghuram, Clare Madge and Bart Rienties on the ESRC-Newton funded project Facilitating equitable
access and quality education for development: South African International Distance

Other project members include Clare Madge (University of Leicester),
Ashley Gunter and Paul Prinsloo (University of South Africa).
You should have a PhD in Human Geography, Sociology, Social Anthropology,
Education, Development Studies or associated fields. You will have some knowledge
of some of the following: migration, race, development, international education,
distance education, online methods, South Africa, global South. The ability to travel to
the study countries if required is a pre-requisite.
