Just seen the picture on the facebook page - that was taken when we went to
the Rutherford lab. You've reminded me that I must contact the lovely lady

Many thanks for making contact with Celia and talking to Hugh Riddle. I
think we'd better not announce anything re the funeral until we have a fixed
date.
In the meantime, would you like to write a short obituary for Tony that we
could circulate to CAS?

I think a good person to contact about dates and Tony's family is Hugh 'Ras'
Riddle. He gave me Tony's sister's (Celia) phone number - and was a good
friend of Tony's.

Dear Nick, Paul, Catherine and Kate,
I just spoke to Catherine on the phone to tell her the sad news about Tony.
It feels like we should just let the CAS community know, even if there is
not a full obituary at this stage. What do you think?
Also Kate - do you know if the Tony's would be ok with us sharing the
funeral arrangements with at least the CAS committee, if not the wider CAS
community who may have known Tony? I imagine these things are often in the
paper etc - so sharing them on social media is probably just the modern
thing to do anyway?
I have also told Stephen Boyd Davis and Charlie Gere the news.
