This is a new guide, whose authors include David Jennings, Dave Pratt, and Seb Schmoller, with a foreword by Maren Deepwell and Joe Wilson. It is a comprehensive summary of how the team went about creating Citizen Maths, an open online Level 2 maths course and service, originally funded by the Ufi Charitable Trust, and currently hosted by Calderdale College. The guide shares the team's design principles and the techniques used to put them into practice. The aim is to provide – with the appropriate 'translation' – a resource that will be useful to other teams who are developing online education initiatives.
